Saying that he understands Lyde has let his estate at Buckhill to Francis Carpenter at £30 per annum; telling Lyde he should try to collect the back rent owed by Hanny before he moves out; noting that "were you not a person whose word I can perfectly rely on I should not have been soe easily satisfied to have to doe with Francis Carpenter after he had used me soe scurvily" [sic]; asking Lyde to give 20 shillings to his cousin Mary Doleman.
